Intel prepares new chipset X99
This year we should see the new line of processors Haswell – E intended for more demanding use in the performance of servers and stations. They will have six to eight cores and Intel has prepared for them a new chipset X99. Sony and Panasonic announced optical “super-disk” with capacity of up to 1 TB
Sony and Panasonic announced a new type of optical disc called Archival Disc. This disk should gradually replace the current peak of the optical media Blu – Ray. Its capacity should reach 300 gigabytes to 1 TB, for comparison – Blu – Ray offers up to 50 gigabytes. More information
AMD is preparing a Two-chip graphics card
AMD surprised, when they sent to selected journalists a message about the upcoming Two-chip graphics card. This should be fitted with chips Radeon R9 290 with 4 GB of GDDR5 RAM . Roll-out is expected on the gaming conference GDC. More information
Nvidia has introduced new models of the GeForce 800M
We stay even while on the theme of graphic cards. The company Nvidia introduced a new range of mobile graphics cards GeForce 800M, which will appear this year in more powerful laptops.
