Since Tuesday 13th of December 8PM we are detecting repeting and massive DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) type of attack on eShop servers in our network, obviously as a part of dirty business struggle in the high shopping pre-Xmas season. The same problems are reported by other large providers too.
According to recent analyses we can say there is one agent behind these problems. The nature of the DDOS attack prevents it from statical filtering technique. The only cure is studious, IP traffic analysis and consequent IP blackholing application.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience on transit traffic caused by this evolving situation, while taking maximal effort to minimize the effect on our precious customers.
