Coolhousing, a trustworthy operator
The NIX.CZ association, the operator of a neutral connection node for the Czech Republic, announced today the acceptance of a new member of the FENIX security project. It's ninth member is none other than COOLHOUSING. We have been included among major organisations such as Active 24, Casablanca INT, Cesnet, CZ.NIC, ČD – Telematika, Dial Telecom, Seznam.cz and O2 Czech Republic, which can operate a trustworthy and secure internet.
We serve (not only) Europe: We entered DE-CIX and AMS-IX
We have implemented our own connections to the most important European internet nodes, DE-CIX and AMS-IX. They will result mainly in reduction of latency for connected networks and improved connectivity.

The change in VAT rules in billing for foreign customers
As of 1 January 2015, the rules for determining the location of taxable fulfilment for provision of telecommunication services, radio and television broadcasting services and electronic services have changed. The change also affects our company's services and in particular will affect billed VAT amounts, which will newly be collected at the rate applicable in the country of the customer's registered seat.
