Scrubbing centre available to everybody

We run our scrubbing center to protect our network and our customers' technologies against DDoS attacks. This facility will detect and filter off any harmful communication. Now, we also offer this service individually to those customers who do not use our hosting services.

Denial of Service (DoS attacks) and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS attacks) are two of today’s most serious threats. While they are relatively simple and inexpensive to organize, efficient protection against them is technically complicated and usually costly as well. (D)DoS attacks may target virtually anyone and their severity and frequency constantly grow.

The protection of our network, facilities connected within it and, newly, any traffic that is directed via our scrubbing center is provided by RadWare DefensePro elements, which are designed, by using proactive monitoring or proprietary behavioural analysis to monitor the data flow and filter off any DDoS attacks or automatically propagating malware.

Our scrubbing center’s offer to clients located also outside our network puts high demands on the data center connectivity, which is being constantly improved. Currently, the Coolhousing data center on the Vinohradská Street in Prague has its own three independent optical lines to the THP data center on the Vinohradská Street, Nagano data center on the U Nákladového Nádraží Street, and CE CEColo data center on the Nad Elektrárnou Street. Furthermore, our network uses redundant branches to NIX.CZ, direct lines to the German and Dutch DE-CIX and AMS-IX centers (now with enhanced capacity), lines to the Slovak SIX and NIX.SK centers, and transit connectivity from a couple of renowned suppliers.

Thanks to our constant network development, we offer interested demanding customers the option of installing dedicated direct optical lines (data circuits) in order to interconnect the technologies located at all of the sites used by us, i.e. in the THP, Nagano, and CE Colo data centers, in the SIX peering center hosted by the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, and of course, in our own data center.

Their routes will enable high-speed transmission between two locations the capacity of which could range from hundreds of kilobits up to multiples of gigabits per second. All this done safely, reliably, and with minimum responses. The connections may use the DWDM/DWDM (multiple wavelengths of light) or MPLS/VPLS (protocol-independent data transmission) technologies. When implementing an optical connection and L2/L3 circuits, we always rely on technologies from the leading manufacturers. Our solutions are primarily based on the technologies provided by Cisco and Juniper.
