When I arrived at work and started up my web browser with Google set up as a splash screen, I realized there was a link to a new Google web browser page. I didn’t hesitate and started the installation immediately. The installation process, which offered almost no possibility of changing anything, made me wonder about how correctly this browser was going to display our company website. And after some time spent using this new browser I remembered a recent barbecue where I quarreled for a dangerously long time about Google’s dictatorship of who or what we were going to find on the internet. After a while I asked myself: "Is Google Chrome Killing Freedom Of Choice?".

We often answer questions such as "How can I test the Coolhousing connectivity?". That is why we have decided to create a testing webpage, where you can find the necessary instructions. You can test IPv4 and IPv6 protocols. The world is running out of IPv4s. Coolhousing is IPv6 ready

The necessity of transfer to IPv6 is being discussed often, but only few hosting companies are doing something for it. Thanks to NAT, recycling and the strict policy of assignment of addresses, the date of absolute depletion of IPv4 could have been postponed. But nothing can be put off forever. According to Mr. Ondřej Filip of CZ.NIC, the depletion of IPv4 addresses can be reasonably expected in September 2011.
