New Ubuntu 12.04 LTS for VPS
From this day is for our clients available new Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. In VPS admin is ready installation image for Ubuntu Server 12.04 i386 and Ubuntu Server 12.04 x86_64. Simply, when you want reinstall your server to Ubuntu 12.04, you can do it. At the moment we have 10 variants of Ubuntu server - 32bit and 64bit systems for all 5 types of Ubuntu Servers.
Virtualization node update
In order to continue providing high quality virtual server, that you rightly expect from us, we decided to update our virtualization node. This will result in increased computing performance, stability and above all safety.

New OS for VPS
As our clients want, for virtual servers are available new operation systems for installation. Now are available DragonFly BSD 2.10.1 x86_64, Mageia 1 x86_64, IPCop 2.0.2 i386, OpenIndiana 151a x86_64 and of course Zeroshell 1.0-beta16 which has been added before two weeks.
Look inside of our server rooms with TELE3
TELE3, one of our important clients, produced a promotional video clip for its hosting services in the COOLHOUSING data center. You can look inside of our server rooms at any time via web cameras, but here, on the video, your view will be accompanied with music, and in addition to that, you can see out structured cabling with CISCO and Juniper components or diesel aggregates that are always ready to cover blackouts.

Within the extend of our regular update services, we have reduced prices for some models of Hewlett-Packard dedicated servers. The basic model HP Compaq 4000 equipped with processor Intel Pentium E6600, 4 GB RAM and one 500GB SATA hard driver only for € 44,-.

DDos attacks on client´s servers
Since Tuesday 13th of December 8PM we are detecting repeting and massive DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) type of attack on eShop servers in our network, obviously as a part of dirty business struggle in the high shopping pre-Xmas season. The same problems are reported by other large providers too.

Coolhousing is expanding its services and offers a hosted email server now. This solution offers e-mail services for your own domain, unlimited number of pages and 10 GB of e-mail storage space. The service is free for customers using dedicated servers. For customers using virtual servers and server housing services is available for € 2,- per month.
